kheloIPL : how does it work? Our first kheloIPL Bucks contest period has started, and existing users are taking steps towards the winning line everyday! With kheloIPL referrals in addition to participating in kheloIPL Popular (Top-11 players / Top-3 teams) voting, kheloIPL Predictions, kheloIPL League teams, everyone is struggling to win prizes. Every kheloIPL season is treated as one kheloIPL session. And the kheloIPL 2009 season will start soon. So, what are you waiting for? Register and start accumulating kheloIPL bucks. Get free stuff just by being involved with the kheloIPL community! As a member of the kheloIPL, you earn kheloIPL Bucks each season simply by doing the following: Participating in the kheloIPL Predictions 100 BUCKS per correct prediction and (-25) for every incorrect prediction. Participating in Popular Teams/Players voting 100 BUCKS per vote. Only one vote allowed for each of teams and players, per week. Referring friends to join the kheloIPL community 50 BUCKS per registered referral per session kheloIPL League Team As per the performance of your team members in the kheloIPL league matches. The formula to calculate the score is: ((1 X Runs) + (25 X Wickets) + (100 if Man of the Match) + (100 if Century) + (100 if 5-Wicket Haul) + (100 if Hat-Trick Wickets) + (10 X Catches) + (10 X Stumps/Run Outs) + (6 X Sixes) + (4 X Fours)) BUCKS You can win this contest without even knowing about it! It's that simple. The highest scorers of the season receive that season's prizes. Example: Joe Average participates in voting, selecting all 11 players and 3 teams. He also participates in predictions (100% for 56 matches) achieving 50% accuracy, and successfully invites two friends to register with the kheloIPL. His kheloIPL Bucks earned for the season are already (200 X 9 votes) + (100 X correct predictions,i.e.28) - (25 X wrong predictions,i.e.28) + (2 X 50) = 4000 kheloIPL Bucks. Assume his players play 14 matches each, in this season, and all of them get an average score of 50 per match. Then Joe has an additional (11 X 14 X 50) = 7700 kheloIPL Bucks. Entry Period: The kheloIPL Bucks contest ("Contest") begins every kheloIPL season and ends with the final match of the season. Check out www.kheloipl.com on the morning of every Monday to cast your votes. Eligibility: Only registered kheloIPL members can participate. By remaining a registered member of kheloIPL, all members agree to these rules and regulations. Official Rules: There is no purchase necessary to be eligible to win prizes. This Contest consists of approx. eight (8) week of a "Bucks-accumulation" period during which registered kheloIPL members accrue Bucks (kheloIPL Bucks) based on the activities described in the table above. At the end of each Contest period, the kheloIPL Team designates the top N winners for that season based on the accumulation of Bucks (kheloIPL Bucks), either in a Top-3 winners format or a Grand Prize (1st, 2nd, 3rd) format. In the event of a tie, the initial tie-breaker is awarded on the basis of kheloIPL Predictions Accuracy. In the event a tie remains, the secondary tie-breaker is awarded on the basis of random selection. The kheloIPL administrative team reserves all rights and methods to make random selection in the event of a tie. Prize(s): The Top N winners, as advertised each season, will be chosen on the basis of the number of kheloIPL Bucks earned in that season. Prizes are announced at the outset of each kheloIPL season. The kheloIPL reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entry at any time in the event it is determined that a kheloIPL member participating in the contest has not fully complied with our Official Rules. Claiming Prizes: Winners are instantly designated publicly on the website and via email following selection, by the email addresses provided within their kheloIPL registration. All prizes must be claimed within 7 days. To claim prizes, kheloIPL Bucks winners must respond to the kheloIPL prize notification email and complete an Affadavit and General Release included in the prize notification email. All unclaimed prizes are forfeited following the claim period, and awarded to runner-up alternative winners selected from the original pool of eligible competitors. General Conditions: All kheloIPL Bucks earned from referrals must have their email verified after registration by the recipient account owner for the Bucks to be awarded. kheloIPL requires all referrals to be invitees who have voluntarily registered and verified their email address in non-automated fashion. Referral invites sent to a member's self via multiple email accounts are void and will not be counted towards their kheloIPL Bucks total. Use of any false email accounts, aliases, or other electronic tampering with the contest will automatically void that kheloIPL Bucks entrant.
